Class Descriptions
Hot (90 minutes)
This is the core hot yoga class at YogaOne.  This class forms the building blocks for a yogi’s/yogini’s practice of yoga.  It is YogaOne's hatha yoga sequence practiced in a hot room in order to allow the body to warm up quickly to deepen the practice and to maximize the detoxifying, cleansing nature of the postures in the series.  This sequence was created taking what our instructors learned from a diversed range of yoga styles and is designed to provide a full workout for the entire body and leaves the student exhausted but invigorated. There are brief resting postures between the active poses. This class is for beginners through advanced students. Hot, 102-105 degrees F, 50-60% humidity. (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

Flow aka Vinyasa Flow (60 or 90 minutes)
This is a more active class inspired by Ashtanga, Power and Forrest Yoga (and other yoga styles depending upon the instructor) with continuous movement where one flows from one posture to the next without rest in-between. Vinyasa literally means "to link"; movements are linked one to the next and breath is linked to movement. This style of yoga is a great compliment to our Hot classes.  Some previous yoga experience is generally recommended for these classes, but other than Flow 2 classes (which is for intermediate to advanced students), all flow classes are all levels.  Warm, but not hot, 85-90 degrees F.  (BEGINNERS TO FLOW ARE ENCOURAGED TO START IN OUR WEEKLY FLOW 101 CLASS).

Forrest Yoga (60-90 Minutes)
Forrest Yoga uses intense pose sequences, compassionately taught, to develop skills in awakening each of the senses. It teaches you to bring aliveness, using breath, into every cell of your body, igniting your passion for living. You will sweat, gain strength, release tension, and breathe much better after experiencing a Forrest Yoga class.  Warm, but not hot, 85-90 degrees ALL LEVELS.

Pranayama Breath Class (20 minutes)
This is for everyone, and it is free.  It is offered periodically by announcement and focuses on proper yogic breathing, which is one of the fundamental principles of the practice of yoga.  This class is highly recommended for beginner to intermediate students.  Warm, but not hot. (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

Yin-Yasa (120 minutes)[CURRENTLY SUSPENDED]
This 2 hour class is designed for students to deepen their existing yoga practice in a way not always possible in a typical fast-paced vinyasa class. The class blends 1/2 hour of a slow, deep and awakening Yin Yoga-inspired practice at the beginning of class followed by 1 1/2 hours of active Ashtanga-based vinyasa practice.
A little yin + a little yang = Yin-yasa.
Some previous yoga experience is recommended.

Belly Dance (60 minutes)
This class will teach you the fundamentals of Belly Dance.  You will learn body control by addressing muscle isolations and directional movements of the individual parts of the body.  This class is designed to emphasize strength, posture, and technique while you develop the muscle control characteristic of belly dance.  Each class will include conditioning, stretching, isolations, technique drills and dance combinations.  The class environment will be challenging, encouraging and fun. (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

Bollywood Aerobics(60 minutes)
Come learn the latest bollywood dance moves in this invigorating and fun class set to a bollywood beat!  You will smile as you sweat and learn to move your body in new ways. (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)
